1. Introduction
Primaron ("Primaron," "we," "us," or "our") provides industrial procurement, engineering support, and vendor representation services for the oil & gas, energy, and infrastructure sectors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information in connection with our website, requests for quotation (RFQs), and commercial engagements.
2. Information We Collect
- Business contact information: name, job title, company, email, phone, and country.
- Project & RFQ details: equipment specifications, technical drawings, quantities, delivery terms, INCOTERMS, end-use sites, and project schedules you submit.
- Compliance information: end-user/end-use details, ultimate consignee data, and documentation required to satisfy U.S. export control (EAR/ITAR), OFAC sanctions, and anti-bribery screening.
- Transactional records: purchase orders, invoices, shipping and customs documents.
- Website data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and cookies used to operate and improve the site.
3. How We Use Information
- To respond to RFQs, quotes, and technical inquiries.
- To source equipment from OEMs and authorized distributors and to manage logistics, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.
- To perform export-control screening, sanctions checks, and KYC due diligence on counterparties.
- To fulfill contracts, issue invoices, and maintain audit-ready records.
- To communicate service updates, market information, and (where permitted) relevant commercial offerings.
4. Sharing of Information
We disclose information only as needed to deliver our services, including with:
- Manufacturers, OEMs, and authorized vendors fulfilling your order.
- Freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and inspection agencies.
- Banks and trade-finance providers facilitating payment, letters of credit, or escrow.
- Regulators and authorities where required by law (e.g., U.S. BIS, OFAC, customs of destination country).
- Professional advisors (legal, audit, insurance) under confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
5. International Transfers
Because our work spans the United States and West African markets (Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, and others), information you provide will be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions whose data-protection regimes may differ from your own. We apply contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
6. Confidentiality of Technical Information
Technical specifications, drawings, datasheets, and pricing shared with Primaron are treated as commercially confidential and are used only to source, quote, and deliver against your request. Where appropriate, we will execute a mutual NDA before exchanging sensitive engineering information.
7. Data Retention
We retain transactional and compliance records for the periods required by U.S. export control, tax, and customs regulations (typically a minimum of five years), and for the duration necessary to support warranty, after-sales, and audit obligations.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage clients to transmit highly sensitive technical files through agreed secure channels.
9. Your Choices
